She joined NTPC when it was a 200 MW company. She left 36 years later, having watched it become a 60 GW integrated power giant and having had a defining hand in that transformation. Over three decades, Mrs. Bhatia raised over $3 billion in project financing across Eurobonds, export credits and multilateral agencies including the World Bank and ADB, built corporate governance frameworks that held under institutional scrutiny, and established risk management structures at a scale that few finance professionals in India have matched. The depth she brings to Cemindia's board is not theoretical. It was earned across one of the longest and most consequential infrastructure careers in the country.
