Polymer Slurry for High-Capacity Bored Piles
Trialled at a restricted-footprint site near Delhi, polymer slurry installation of 1,000mm bored piles returned safe capacities exceeding 750MT against a conventional benchmark of 500MT. A 50% improvement, now standard practice.

Top-Down Construction - Special Adaptations, Mumbai
At Wadala, Mumbai, bored precast piles doubled as permanent basement columns with a plate welded at the base to address variable rock levels. A practical adaptation that eliminated significant programme risk on a complex urban site.

Mixed Shield EPB TBM for Mixed Soil and Rock
For DMRCi, Cemindia deployed a Mixed Shield EPB TBM through alternating soil and rocky strata, one of the most challenging TBM environments. A capability now embedded across Cemindia's tunnelling methodology.

In-House Stationary Slow Crane for Box Pushing Muck Removal
Fabricated in-house from available winch and structural steel, a stationary slow crane was developed for muck removal at box pushing projects. Built at a fraction of the cost of procured equipment and extended across multiple project sites.

Anchor Plates for Pre-Fabricated Vertical Drains - JNPT
Conventional spot-welded anchor plates were failing in field conditions. Cemindia devised a single-piece slitted plate from a tool die. Over 2 lakh PVDs were installed without failure, at 49% less cost than the previous design.

Cement Saving via Polymer Additives for Concrete Pumping
Cemindia is trialling anionic polymer additives to replace cement-sand-water slurry in concrete pump priming creating a lubricating film inside pump lines, reducing friction and eliminating cement cost from the priming process entirely.

GEOHEMS software integrated with all CPCB II Compliance Generators across Cemindia's sites which provides real-time data on diesel consumption, targets waste elimination and delivers site-level performance data across the entire generator fleet.
