Cemindia entered India's metro construction space in 1998 with Delhi MRTS Phase 1 and has not stopped since. From Delhi's first metro lines to Nagpur's elevated viaducts, from Jaipur's two-level road and metro structure to underground stations beneath Mumbai's most congested neighbourhoods, Cemindia has built the systems that move modern India.

A track record built on specialist equipment, engineering firsts and the discipline to deliver complex urban infrastructure without disrupting the cities being built through.

Jaipur Metro Phase II

Jaipur Metro Phase II

2026Rajasthan

Jaipur Metro Phase II extends the network beyond the existing line into Jaipur's southern and eastern districts. Cemindia worked on viaduct and station packages with particular sensitivity to the heritage-listed zones along the alignment, requiring bespoke vibration management, ground monitoring and approval from the Archaeological Survey of India before every major operation.

Lucknow Metro Extension

Lucknow Metro Extension

2026Uttar Pradesh

The Lucknow Metro extension adds further coverage to a city experiencing rapid urbanisation. Cemindia's scope covers elevated civil and structural works, dealing with Lucknow's mixed alluvial geology, seasonal groundwater fluctuations, and busy road arteries beneath the proposed alignment.

Agra Metro Phase I

Agra Metro Phase I

2026Uttar Pradesh

Agra Metro Phase I is being built in one of India's most culturally sensitive cities. Cemindia's elevated package required compliance with ASI regulations prohibiting heavy vibration within a 3 km radius of the Taj Mahal, demanding non-percussive foundation methods and noise-dampened construction techniques across the entire alignment length.

Bhubaneswar Metro

Bhubaneswar Metro

2026Odisha

Bhubaneswar Metro is part of the Smart City Mission's integrated transport vision for Odisha's capital. Cemindia's civil works cover elevated viaduct and station construction across a corridor that links the old city to the new development zones, requiring careful integration with the ongoing smart city utilities infrastructure beneath the roads.

Kochi Metro Extension

Kochi Metro Extension

2026Kerala

Kochi Metro's southern extension to Thrippunithura passes through some of the most densely built urban areas in Kerala. Cemindia constructed elevated viaduct spans and station shells, working around a network of canals, narrow road widths and high groundwater, characteristics unique to Kerala's coastal urban landscape that demanded innovative falsework approaches.

Contract CC-50 DMRC

Contract CC-50 DMRC

2026Delhi

Contract CC-50 covered the underground civil works for a key station and running tunnel section within the Delhi Metro network. Cemindia executed diaphragm walls, station box excavation, and internal structural works in an exceptionally constrained urban corridor, managing ground settlement risks adjacent to existing metro infrastructure and heritage zones.
