Tunnelling
Below the surface. Above every standard.
In 2009, Cemindia set an Asian record - 37.5 metres of TBM tunnelling in a single day beneath the streets of Delhi. It was not an accident. It was the product of decades of accumulated expertise across every tunnelling method the ground demands i.e. TBM, M-TBM, NATM and box pushing. From Delhi Metro's first underground packages in the 1990s to Himalayan railway tunnels and urban sewer mains, Cemindia has tunnelled through soil, weathered rock and hard rock, beneath live railway lines, active city centres and open countryside without disrupting what lies above.
