Maritime Structures
Where India’s coastline meet its greatest engineering.
India's coastline is one of the most demanding construction environments on earth. Open water, unpredictable seabed conditions, tidal variation, offshore logistics and zero margin for structural error. Cemindia has been operating in these conditions since before Independence, building across every major port in the country and delivering structures that handle millions of tonnes of cargo, defend coastlines and project India's maritime power.
From the first private container terminal in India at JNPT to a 2.4km approach bridge constructed in open sea at Dahej, from India's Naval shiplift facility at Karwar to the breakwater at Vizhinjam, Cemindia's maritime portfolio is not a list of projects. It is the story of how some of India's most important ports were built.
